In Memory Of
Our Friend And Classmate Dennis Pennington Rest In Peace (Share Your Memories Of Dennis) I went through grade school and high school with Dennis and he was one of the funniest people that I have ever known. I was always doing something to make you laugh, he was a good person and fun to be around. I was very sad when I heard of his death, he will always be missed. Adina Cox Dean '89 Dennis was always a nut. I liked him a lot. We got into trouble just about every day. He always used to say"What about them horses" still not sure what he meant but it sure was funny. I always thought of Dennis as being the next Eddie Murphy. There was no limit to his madness!! Miss ya buddy!! Tank!! Tank!! Where do you start? Dennis was always around. He was Tony's very best friend for as long as I can remember. He and his wife Mona and son Mitchell used to stay at our house a lot. We did a lot of things together. Most of all Dennis' passing has left a BIG empty place in Tony's life. We miss him a lot, but I do know one thing: although Dennis had a rough life, I do know that at the end, he was right with God. I know that for a fact. That makes it easier. I attended Elk Knob Elementary with Dennis in the late 70's & early 80's. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. I live in Indiana and news travels very slow here.Even though I only knew him in our youth, he had an incredible presence about him. I believe everyone who knew him can remember at least 100 times that he made them laugh. Laughter, I believe, is the greatest gift anyone can receive, in that case Dennis was one of the most generous people I've ever met. You'll not be forgotten. |
