ABOUT ME: Name Now: Faye Smith OK ... a little about me now .... Well, I married very young (17) and after about a year, my husband and I went to Mountain Empire Community College and when we graduated there, we went on to Radford University where I double majored in Mathematics and Statistics. In my senior year at Radford University, I became pregnant with my oldest child, Michelle. She was born 1 week before final exams. What timming!! So after graduation, I decided to stay home with her and have the most important job in the world, that of being a mother. I've been a stay at home mom ever since and I LOVE it! My family is very important to me. We moved to Northern Virginia for a while because Jim was working for the Center for Naval Analysis. After being in Northern Virginia for 5 years, we were able to move back pretty close to home. We live close to Knoxville, TN now for the past 7 years. We are very happy to be "back home" or at least close to it. We are very active in our church. Besides being a mother and wife, I'm a Sunday School teacher and my husband and I are the Youth Directors at our church. Plus we hold down a lot of other jobs and responsibilities at church, and I volunteer A LOT at my children's schools. WHERE I LIVE NOW: Knoxville, TN OTHER PLACES I'VE LIVED: Radford, VA; Alexandria, VA CURRENT INTERESTS: WORK/CAREER: Wife, Mother, Sunday School teacher ... HOBBIES: I love to travel all explore all over and especially in coastal regions. We travel a lot as a family. I also love to take pictures and share them with family and friends. I love boating and the water. When we travel, we usually go to a coast somewhere. Here at home, in our free time we spend a lot of time out on the lake, boating and jet skiing. FAMILY: I've been married to Jim Smith (Jonesville High School Class of '84) for almost 20 years now (May 29th will make 20 years) and we have 3 children. 2 girls and one boy. Michelle 14 years old, Breanna 11 years old, and Jimmie 7 years old. PETS: None right now. MEMORIES: I have a lot of wonderful memories!!! Way to many to list. I went to school with some wonderful, awesome people that I'm so glad were in my life and touched my life. |
