ABOUT ME: Now Now: Pegi Beeler-McCarthy In the eighties, I moved to Michigan to live with my father and attend law school, and never left. My work revolves around the laws governing imports and international financial transactions for GM and although it sounds dull, it is quite interesting most of the time. PG will always be my home and I visit at least once a year. Luckily, I have gotten to visit with some of my buddies over the years, but would love to catch up with more of you! WHERE I LIVE NOW: Grosse Pointe, Michigan OTHER PLACES I'VE LIVED: Detroit and Farmington (Michigan) CURRENT INTERESTS: WORK/CAREER: Customs Manager, General Motors Corp. HOBBIES: Nothing changes. Shopping when I have time. FAMILY: Married Greg McCarthy in 2001. Two sons: Emerson (2003) and Julian (2006). Updated photo is with Julian on his first birthday (March 2007) PETS: 1 very old Himalayan cat and my Mom's (grandmother Ruth's) pomeranian which I adopted when she passed in 2001. MEMORIES: We had WAY toooo much fun and were often way toooo mean! Thank God we made it through alive and that people just had patience with us (how did our parents ever put up with us - I know that this will come back to haunt me). Big fun with band/majorettes and weekend activities of debauchery and boy chasing with Linda, Sheila, Stephanie, Elaine, Sabrina and numerous others that were intermittent partners in crime. Weren't we creative in making our own fun - and just loved hanging out with the girls? |
